This was a 'breakfast' flight, but knowing that I'd have something nice in the lounge, I pre-ordered the beef for lunch, having it abt 2 hrs out of Barcelona. I surprised to see it on the menu, as when I went into the menu/pre-order area for this flight, it only showed the breakfast stuff as the menu and the 'all day dining' meals as only pre-orderable.

The Dyptique is eau de toilette

The wine lists tend to be fairly uniform over routes I find, so this was SIN-DOH last month. I basically survived on the Riesling and Bordeaux my last few trips.

Don't forget you can get into MMB on the QR site and pre-order, incl stuff that may not be on the on-board menu.

For whatever reason I have never come up with this term... I just used the full term in my head.

QR website said that the menu is not out yet, so normally when pre-order be available? Is it similar to SQ BTC (Book The Cook)?

14 days out you will be able to see the menu and pre book your meals

Poached lobster, Qatari chicken and basque cheesecake. All pretty decent. Amazing how well they can plate stuff in that tiny galley on an A320!!!
I made use of the dine any time and had this served to me just before descent.

Do son in all of my kits. They may differentiate between the male and female versions of the kit.

So my QR J HKG-DOH-BCN is coming up and the menu is now available. I've never tried QR. Which main course should I choose from the list below?

MAIN COURSE
Grilled Angus beef tenderloin with thyme jus
sweet potato gratin, peppers and Brussels sprouts

Chicken kabsa with cucumber raita
fried onions, cashew nuts and sultanas

Lobster Thermidor
mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Cheese cannelloni with roasted tomato sauce
spinach and Parmesan

I don’t eat seafood or vego dishes so that narrows it down for me.
As a mushroom hater I’m probably giving the steak with mushroom sauce a miss.
I’m a massive machboos/Kabsa fan and they are essentially the same dish so I’m probably taking the steak from HKG and the machboos from DOH
