Then, good to see how their galley works - we know that the QR meals (in J at least) and always well presented and plated. They have a 'galley manager' and an 'assist', and then the FAs come and collected and deliver.

I wonder which other airlines organise it like that?

QF does it exactly the same for the A380. There is a galley lead and a galley assist, who are responsible for all the food, cooking, plating etc.

I was gonna ask ‘which airline?’ because as you say, QF operates in the same way as QR.

I guess with the QF Galley Lead/assist, I am sure that generally they try their best.

However, given the comparative ingredients they start with there is only so much lipstick you can put on a pig.

To be fare, I’ve had brilliant dishes and cough awful on both airlines. The QR cod (fish) dish is particularly bad.
