Qantaslink to OOL?

1a or 2a on a 717 must be nice.
Must try that one day.
1c only good to watch the security procedure to lock front left hand side door to plane from a peep of my left eye.
Didn't want to seem like a t*rro****.

Only ever have flown qantaslink 2 times asp-ayq-asp and the service was pretty ordinary was I just unlucky or is this how qflink is normally?

The crew on the 717's are contractors employed by Cobham, as opposed to the Dash8 which is crewed by either Eastern or Sunstate (which are both wholly-owned subsidiaries).

There is a noticeable difference in the service onboard the 2 "QLink's" and part of that is driven by having contracted staff where QF would have less of an oversight of the service delivery.

Also agree that a Mel and Adelaide to OOL would be a goer. Can't work out why they don't do it. J And V are pretty full when I go on them.

Couldn't care less if it was a 717 or a dash 8 so long as we get there, without going via SYD

I had the pleasure to sit in 1A on a J-717 to HVB last year (only sold as Y though) and the staff were really good.

Even though only Y sold, having a whole row to yourself, even though only that bit of space, wow.
MUST try that one! Like I said, having tried 1C, 1A is on my next to do list.
Lets see if I can play my cards right one day that 717 flies out of ADL.
Edit: mmm, J class fares seem to have dropped, used to $849 or so, ADL - SYD, now $749.
