Interesting collab…even has space for your pizza cutter!!

I’m not posting here as free advertising, I’m posting for interest

My assumption is it offers zero benefit over existing solutions such as airtags

I also looked up the dimensions and the carry on size exceeds Qantas’ standard, unless I’m missing something
Well why would you need tracking on your carry on? Presumably it's designed for checked baggage.

Probably needs merging with the P1 Rebrand thread, or otherwise bring the bag related posts out to here.

It essentially has an inbuilt AirTag given it works with the Find My network. Benefits are minor though, more around you can't lose the tag or forget to put one in.

I've had a Tile then AirTag on my carry on for about a decade now. From the top of my mind, it's useful when:
  • you've been caught out by the carry on weight enforcement.
  • you need to gate check due to full overhead bins.
  • to check in liquids for a short international trip.
  • when leaving your bags with a hotel concierge.

I thought smart cases without removable batteries were banned from checked luggage?

(Appreciate this is probably a coin cell, but still, wouldn't want to be denied baggage loading)
