Qantas Wine latest offering

The cap is 125k per transaction/activity statement line item.
yeah - that's what I mean....the 140k points earned in that wine transaction (assuming that it was all done in one transaction) would be capped at 125k points for the purposes of being added into the PC/PC+ requalification total.

Qantas Wine is an anomaly - a single transaction usually credits across multiple activity statement lines, so I don't think the cap applies.

The other exception is purchasing points that don’t come with bonus wine. No cap but poor value and only an option for the desperate! 😁

Email received today "Stocktake Sale starts now – save up to 70%"
I want a sale, and use my $50 voucher, and lots of bonus points. Still looking.

What's also interesting is that it takes the same number of points to fly Tamworth-Canberra via Sydney as it does for a direct Tamworth-Sydney flight, though you pay $139 in fees instead of $62.
Points required are grouped in distance bands hence the same number of points, the +++ is just reflective of more airports snouts in the trough in the form of their fees for processing you.
