Does anyone know with these kinds of deals, does calling QF Wine get you anything more?

It can if your total spend is $500-1000+

You should still give it a go. I purchased a $420 case last month via phone order and the agent handed an additional 1k bonus points (I did ask if he can throw some extra points to sweeten the deal). Being a returning customer may have helped though.

But you need to aware that if you're getting the PCP 10% dicount they can't offer extra points.

Or so my wine advisor told me, quoting from the Qantas bible she was working to.

No PCP here. Would using the $50 prevent me from receiving extra points?

Wasn't an issue for me mid last year - may have changed

No, that would be fine I understand.

Anyone else having problems with the $50 vouchers either not reducing price by $50 or saying "code invalid"?

I have in the past had issues with using the vouchers online. Have had to call them up and they manually madae changes without issue

Reynella Basket Pressed Cabernet 2021 is available for $318 for PCP members, with ~19k points. Works out to 1.41c per point if you have a $50 voucher to burn.

Is it a good wine? Anyone have an opinion ?

The only opinion I have is that it's far cheaper than buying points directly off Qantas.

I just bought this case (not yet arrived), and I expect it to be drinkable. Anything else (on the positive side) would be a bonus.

Does anyone else go straight to the Mystery listings when Qantas sends a voucher? I do and my purchases have been quite pleasing . I took a punt on the Opulent WA Rose ($116 after voucher for a dozen). Terra Riche End Game the Rook Rose (full price $366)... we'll see!

25,002 bonus points with this case for $474 (before any discounts) seems like a good deal.

Wine any good or are we buying 25000 points for $470?

25000 and 2 points, to be precise

I guess that we would only be buying that wine for the points? Nothing special about the wine itself.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the last few cheapo bonus point cases I've bought. Willing to try my luck again with this one for the points earn. 26282 points for $426.60 as PC+ is half decent.

Make of this what you will, but a wine made in only a few vintages. My take, it's a made or order wine that if it was any good would be made each year.

Well I'm going to take one for the team. I very much view it as points with a bonus of wine so will be happy if it's a passable quaffing wine.
