Qantas Wine latest offering

"Dear a330j, because you've made a purchase with us in the last 12 months we're extending your Qantas epiQure membership for another year^." A pleasant email to receive.

Amex centurion have an offer with Langtons if anyone's interested spend $500 enter code CENT150 at checkout get $150 off. I've just bought 24 Mount Langi Cliff Edge 2012 @ $15.75 each
I don't see how they can specifically identify Centurion cards so it may well work with any Amex charge card

Thanks for the heads up. But seriously, is that not the worst website ever? Other than being slow and generally clunky, it isn't clear where the buy now wine comes from. On one hand, it indicates its like an other online e-tailer. But then I get the impression the buy now is just a buy now price from some of the auctioned wines. I don't want the latter I case. I want to know if the wine is faulty, Langtons will deal with it.

...and a quick Lehmann Cab Sav purchase to get my 8000 points...thanks for the heads up epiQure. Stocks needed replenishing just at the right time.

My Peter Lehmann arrived last night in a shabby box (similar to QF WP).

The thing that got me was that there weren't even cardboard dividers separating the bottles so you could hear them clattering around in there. Very surprised that they hadn't broken. Felt it was poor form from epiQure. Even the cheapy cases from Cellarmasters/Vinomofo etc have some form of protection for the bottles. Would've expected it on a $200 case from a more "premium" site.

Perhaps send them some polite feedback?

Agreed wholeheartedly. With one exception (Wirra Wirra Good Catch - but as least that had thin cardboard dividers), every other carton has been purpose made and branded (Wynns, St Hallett, Saltram, Voyager Estate, Kilikanoon, Penfolds). Damn, even Virgin Wine and Cellarmaster have branding on their cartons. Might give EpiQure a ring.

Now that you mention it, my last two cases were also lacking cardboard dividers between the bottles, which I thought was odd and fairly stupid given how "crash-bang" couriers are.

Just had a 10 minute call with an EpiQure CSR - told him my comments above. He understood our concerns - not sure whether it was a mailing house issue but could see the brand damage that can be done with poor packaging - to quote him "We don't want you going off to Dans to buy your wine". He could see my history and I told him about AFF and how we discuss our Epiqure purchases. He recommended I email frequent_flyer @ qantas . com . au with a photo and it will get back to the Epiqure team - they don't even have their own email address . The Website Feedback form doesn't allow for attachments...

Epiqure fail: just got an email advertising 2000 bonus points offers. Click on link and get a "sorry but it looks like you're too late for this offer". The email says it ends today, so shouldn't it still be available for the remainder of today?

Did anyone else just get the reminder email about the 2000 bonus point offers ending today?

When I click the links I'm presented with a "sorry this offer has ended" page :(

Same here, lately the workings of QFF have been decidedly amateur!

I still think that if the offer ends today, it should be available for the duration of the day. I was somewhat tempted by the Cab Sav...

I got the same page - right back onto EpiQure to give them a piece of my mind.

Bait & Switch tactics don't work on me.

I left feedback on the online form and got a call within 20 minutes. They said they were very sorry and weren't sure what the problem was but that it had been referred to their head office for action.

I sent off an email to EPiQure about the packaging:

I have been a regular purchaser from EpiQure over the past 2 years, however my most recent purchase arrived yesterday (Peter Lehmann H&V Cabernet) and I was concerned at the lack of quality in the packaging carton.

With one exception (Wirra Wirra Good Catch - but as least that had thin cardboard dividers), every other carton has been purpose made and branded (Wynns, St Hallett, Saltram, Voyager Estate, Kilikanoon, Penfolds). Even Virgin Wine and Cellarmaster have branding on their cartons and cardboard dividers which decrease the risk of breakage during the delivery process.

I rang your Customer Service number today and advised them - the CSR (Simon, if I recall correctly) recommended I email my concerns to you. I note that there are a number of fellow purchasers who share my concerns with the poor quality of packaging (we are members of a frequent flyer website well known to AMP Loyalty)
