Qantas Wine latest offering

Looks like they now have the 2004 Dom Perignon, half dozen for $1,139.94 - any thoughts on that vs the 2003 (same for $1200)?

Depends what you like, but if it was me I'd grab the 03 just because it is so different to everything else they have done this millennium. To me it makes it more special. That being said a lot of people, mostly Dom loyalists, but even my mother who will gladly neck a bottle of yellow really didn't like the 03.

I Don't actually like the 03 Dom. Drank heaps of it on EK last week. It seemed very acidic and probably needs a few more years.

I bought my first dozen in mid Sep. Received the standard points but the bonus 2000 for first dozen is still not showing. Can anyone shed some light on the lead time for this please? Is it time for me to contact epicure or wait a bit longer?

Contact them, last time I waited and waited and finally turned out I had not conformed to some fine print condition !

The bonus should post at the time the purchase points post.

The current e-mail says something about a "bonus case of champagne"; but I can't find any further mention of it on their site. Anyone know what this is about? JV

Well picked up, suspect it was an offer pulled at the last moment which is why the newsletter was late, but worth a call.

Thanks markis10.

I just ordered this combined with a 10% discount code, but the bonus points didn't appear on the order. Time to call up on Monday I think.

Are you by any chance able to share the discount code? :D

Purchased the same yesterday - they came up on my invoice:confused:

Maybe it's a case of discount = no bonus points?

But isn't post 916 just showing invoice details? It's not a copy of the QFF account points that have been posted.

correct, usually the invoice assumes pts on standard formula, which is updated later.

has nothing to do with discount code.
