Qantas website is quite OK. Much better than Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Tiger put together.

The poll does not really make sense to me....

One of the best airline websites I have ever used. I can pretty much do everything online without needing to call the call centre.

Maybe I'm just use to it, and find others to different for comfort.

I think the QF web site is pretty good - fast enough, reasonably easy to navigate and rarely need to call the Call Centre.

I find AAs a little harder to navigate and 'elegant' - poor font selection in a number of places. and I find CX a little easier to use than the others.

I don't know of the 'best' airline web site. It is not an especially high bar set by AA, QF and CX, that's for sure :-|

1 unhappy, 13 happy.
Hmmm. I see a trend forming.

Some of us may slag off QF for other things but the website is generally very good and easy to use. I was getting some problems a while ago but I think they were due to my browser settings more than anything.

I think the QF site is pretty good overall and I'd like to know what the OP sees as wrong with it?

On a side note.... Does anyone find it a bit odd Qantas is Twittering at 2230? They just tweated me. I'm all for dedication and all, but its a bit over the top paying someone to man the social media now?

qantas has the most comprehensive websites for an airline (that i've visited).

For an industry with such a high level of turnover, decent web development would be so negligible.

Which other airlines has walk thrus of their lounges and/or the check in process.

One day I am going to try and understand what this means.... :-|

Definitely one of the better ones out there. AF/KL is not good, virgin hard...

In terms of functionality, the QF site is pretty good...my chief gripe is those accursed "drop-across" menus from the toolbar, which I find a PITA to use, particularly if you are using a laptop without a proper mouse. "Drop-down" menus would be a big improvement!

Another who thinks Qantas have a good site. Frankly regard this poll as a waste of time.

The site is quite comprehensive.

I do find there are too many/much resource hogging flash functions however.

I find it fairly comprehensive. The only "Enhancement" I'd really like:

A direct link to the "Earning Points" (flying) - I get tired of having to got to the Earning Points page and then selecting "Fly - Earning Points".

It's a Frequent Flyer program - can't I have a direct link from my account page on the LHS Menu? Makes sense; I can access everything else I need at my fingertips from there.

Afraid I totally disagree,Qantas has flights leaving and landing in some part of the world at all hours of the day (and night) just because you might be asleep at 1 am here in Australia doesn't mean that someone who is about to board a QF flight in the US or UK doesn't need advice.
Air travel is a 24 hours,7 day a week,365 days a year industry and QF is a key player in the industry so in my opinion they certainly should be monitoring social media at all hours, after all if you can book a flight om the internet at 3am why shouldn't you be able to ask a question about it on Twitter at the same time.
As for the question about the website I generally find it easy to use and generally consider it one of the better airline websites.
Cheers

I find the website generally pretty good. Quick-links in the FF section would be handy.

As mentioned here, the horizontal menu is a pain on mobile device and a laptop.

One thing that really annoys me when JASA searching on the award bookings page - is that everything has to be entered in the correct order - if you forget to set it to ASA and input a date and then select the ASA button - it then resets the date - why?. It resets the locations too depending on what you've done out of order. This is especially frustrating from a mobile device.
