Conrad for sure, I've also stayed at the mandarin Oriental but definitely rate the Conrad higher on my scale: )

And almost 16,000 FF poionts? ;)

And 120 SCs with DSC... 60 without :p

Also, these fares can be routed via another domestic city (e.g. MEL/SYD) for a small premium, which will be lucrative for some, especially with DSC... Extra 1k-1.5k pts and 10/15/20/30 SC for a couple of bucks

The etickets always need an email address, so thats where it goes, and given its mileage earning, sign them up for QFF through the free link

https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/do/dyns/joinffp?code=JETMAIL

The points earned at worse will be enough for a $50 woolies gift card each.

OK just booked her flights from Mel-Sin came in at $816 on xe converter...she has received an email from Expedia with her confirmation number...where do we get the E Tickets from ? We found out that she does have a QFF number but was in her Australian name instead of her Chinese name and we are just about to scan the passport and do change of name details via the QFF service centre. I entered her QFF number on the booking but because of the change of name do not think that will be updated for a while. I get a bit worried when doing this for other people but so long as we can get her E Tickets through I am sure all will be OK

You will get a separate email with a receipt some time down the track.

Oh yes that too

No DSC offer here, but will easily re-qualify for Plat without it

However, I did pay an extra $20 AUD to go via SYD on two of the trips, for an extra 10SC, 1000QFF points and the SYD F Lounge

Unfortunately - from CNS, the domestic connection to/from SYD/BNE is more than the SYD/BNE-SIN return!

I have found that some prices I was looking at for later in the year in J Class have gone up around $300 dollars. Do prices fluctuate in regards to currency fluctuations ie. what Expedia Brazil purchases their tickets for in Australian dollars from Qantas?

Dont they peg it to the price Qantas sells it for in Australia? Ie where QF sells it on sale, they follow? I thought they were cheaper on .br because they dont charge the fuel surcharge (which always stays the same), whereas the base price is what fluctuates through sales

A big thanks to everyone in this thread for the heads up and tips. I've just booked a MEL-SIN return for late-November for the princely sum of $370ish using the hotel booking hack on Expedia. I've never been to Singapore before but at this price I couldn't resist, I doubt you could get there on Scoot for less...

And a big thanks from me too $430 return for 2pax including 1nt in the Carlton Hotel, early October. We are thrilled with this price and have never been to Singapore before, it's a great chance for a quick 24hr stopover on route to Siem Reap.

Does anyone know if it's possible to put different dates for the flights and hotels on the expedia site? I can't seem to for the life of me figure it out despite trying to book the flights first, and then add the hotels later.

For instance, I want the flights to go out on 19 Jun returning 27 Jun, but I only need a hotel from 19 Jun to 23 Jun.

Thanks guys for all the help in advance!

I seem to remember that you look up flights + hotels. There is a specific button down toward the left from memory that says something like 'hotels for part of my trip'.

Indeed it is possible, although I didn't see it at first either. Once you select "Flight + Hotel", tick the box circled in the pic below and you can select the hotel dates you want to book..

Sale is Over QF Price this am was $1539 return to Singapore only $36.00 less than the cist to fly to JFK :D

I am glad that we managed to book a number of flights at the low price from .br along with a number of very cheap flights to LHR as low as $1055 return

a HUGE thank you to the OP

Not sure if by "QF price" you mean the .br price or from the QF website but the .br "sale" seems far from over.
Just now I can see R$827 return for dates in late this month or early Nov.

Only for another 5 or so hours when it becomes today in Brazil.

Wow...sooo cheap....just looked 2 adults 1 child dep 4th Nov, ret 12th....$1100....
otherwise 1 adult aprox $407...

Are these dates able to be changed? Say i book now, and decide i want different dates later on?...or would this defeat the purpose of these prices?
