Qantas will today announce its return to the Gold Coast, some five years after the Red Roo handed over its Gold Coast routes to low-cost sibling Jetstar.The move follows Virgin Australia's push into the Gold Coast, including the opening in May of an airport lounge for business class travellers and top-tier Velocity Frequent Flyers.
