Qantas Red Planet

16 days and no surveys I think that is a new record of inactivity, hopefully wakes up soon.

Have been on the virtual waitlist for RedPlanet for ages. I’m guessing there’s nothing to do other than wait/hope for admittance behind the red curtain?

I guess so, I signed up when it originally launched and accepted right away, even though there were lengthy periods of a few months here and there where I could not be bothered doing any surveys they never kicked me out.

I wonder if someone has to be booted through inactivity (and how long that period might be) or somehow unsubscribe for them to add new people?

I'm guessing perhaps they have a budget for how many points they are willing to give for RP research each years and limit user base accordingly?

Logged in to discover 8 surveys - apparently they just stopped emailing me about them 🤷‍♂️
Petilil Tracker for 300 points. About financial services. Took about 30 minutes, way too many repetitive questions. Not a fan.
Project Pseudoepiplatys. Screened out without even asking questions, no idea what it was for.

Finally got a survey "Project Phantom" today but screened out on basis of postcode, gender or age.

Or “phantom” survey…😁

Still nothing here since 20 Dec 23. Also, my dashboard is now showing “0” entires in the next prize draw, so I assume I didn’t win the last one…

The draw for the October - December competition has not happened yet. It is scheduled for Friday 12th with winners to be published on 19th.

Project Hermes Tracker for 150 points - satisfaction with Australia Post. Boy was that a timely chance for me to vent my spleen!

/Rant
We live in the ACT and are selling a property in VIC. We have no mortgage on this property, so no bank involved. Turns out this makes Australia Post critical to our sale - can you believe that in 2024 we have to actually physically provide the title to our conveyancer - no electronic transfer possible! Usually this is handled by the banks (who hold the titles when there's a mortgage) and everyone just takes the banks word they have the title and it eventually makes its way to the new owner.

So in preparation for settlement on 22 Jan 2024, we sent the title, by registered post, to the conveyancing company on 1 Dec 2023. Tracking shows it did not arrive in Melbourne until 13 Dec (13 days - pretty slow, I reckon). For whatever reason, it was not able to be delivered (odd, to an office that did not close for Christmas until 20 Decemeber), and Australia Post claims they left a card "collect from PO". Conveyancers say they did not get any such card.

Bottom line, on 2 January 2024, Australia Post unilaterally decided to return the letter to sender - I think they could have phoned us (number was on the letter) and asked us to chase up the recipient, but no, they just returned it. It only arrived back in our mail box today 11 January (9 days, still pretty slow). We now have 10 days until settlement (4 of which are weekends) and the title still has to go to Melbourne.

Based on previous timeframes, I went to PO today to send it off again, seeking express registered post - no such thing exists . So off it goes again unregistered, in an express envelope - "might get there tomorrow or maybe Monday":eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

And the survey asked me to rate my satisfaction with letter delivery! I gave them 1/10. Plus a rant.

To close the loop on my rant, the title was safely delivered to the conveyancer this afternoon by Australia Post.

Been getting a few lately where I'll get to right near the end then it says not eligible and spits out 15 credits >_< Frustrating emailing every time, so far have been issued them all except for once where it said someone else had already completed the survey. Buggy systems.
