Qantas Red Planet

Shock Horror, I just got rejected from Project Fizz. I thought I'd easily qualify for that one. I guess I didn't buy the right type of drinks or they'd filled the quota I fitted into. I answered the survey a few minutes after the invitation came in but as we've seen on this thread, the survey has been out there for a few days at least so they've probably already filled many of the quotas.

I love being able to compare information on various surveys. It gives everyone a better insight as to what is really going on.

that's really interesting that you got kicked off - it was quite long and repetitive

Maybe it was good that I got kicked out. It doesn't sound like they type of survey I should have been doing late at night.

What type of drinks did you answer questions about?

Mainly Schweppes tonic, diet tonic and ginger ale and Fevertree tonic

I had troubles with Project Delight on Friday (got an error message) so emailed Red Planet Research. They (Rachel) came back to me within 2 hours:

Looking at the system it appears we experienced a technical issue with the link to our Project Delight survey. Unfortunately, the survey had not yet been removed from your Portal which is why it was still available for you to start.

We apologise for any confusion and frustration this has caused you and thank you for your understanding. We have awarded your account with the 15 Qantas Points you would have received for attempting the survey.

Points showing on my Dashboard as soon as I logged in and will make it to my QFF accounts within days. Excellent service recovery as usual

Go this email this morning:

The Project Smiles RECONTACT survey is now open.

Late last week we sent you an invitation to our Project Smiles survey. Shortly after it was launched we encountered a technical issue and members couldn't complete the survey. We're sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. The issue has since been resolved and you should now qualify for this project. We appreciate your input.

This survey is being run in conjunction with The ORU on behalf of Queensland University of Technology and will open using their website. Please note, that based on your responses you may qualify for a longer version of this survey (interview duration of 8-15 minutes); in such instances you will be awarded the extra Qantas Points as soon as the study has closed.

Straight in and qualified for the longer version - all about the digital economy. 12 mins and 50 points. One of the easiest surveys I've done.

Survey offer for Project Shape a couple of days ago - 150 points for 15 minutes - after 3 questions was kicked out. Noted it was on behalf of Mater Group, so will be healthcare related.

On Friday was offered Project Treat - 500 points for 45 minutes. Just don't have that block of time available. Sorry Red Planet. They even sent a follow up email, so I'll bet the take-up was low. Never had a follow-up email to a survey before.

Don't be so quick to brush off that survey. It wasn't explained well in the email, I think. When you start the survey you are informed that Project Treat can be done over 3 days. There's the first part of the survey, then two days of diaries. You can choose to do the first diary day immediately after the first part of the survey or to come back and do it the next day. The 2nd diary can't be done till the following day after you do the first diary. You'd go back into Red Planet to resume the survey from where you left off.

re project treat, i never got the email to do 2nd day diary. i did remember however and logged in, clicked thru and got some odd warning re i'd be emailed for 2nd day, but a continue button as well. clicked it and went thru to 2nd day and bam, 500 points.

Thanks for the prompt as I haven't had a follow up email. I clicked resume and continued. I was asked what snacks I had yesterday, and as luck would have it I had had none. So when I clicked 'none' the survey stopped and I got the 500 points. :)

I received an invitation to Project Treat but it was 2 days later before I was able to take up the invitation. I was screened out after a few minutes but did get to select which snack foods I liked to eat between meals. The quota was full for my demographic. The first part of the survey sounded really long.

I got screened out for Project Treat too... probably because I mentioned I used to buy various "treats" but do not do so now.

Also: I just attempted Project Swift.. it asked me my year of birth (that being 1991) and promptly screened me out. Any idea what the demographic for this one was?
