Hi there all,

Qantas have a sale on Premium Economy at the moment. The sale ends 18 September 2017, unless sold out prior* Premium Economy Sale | Qantas AU

I'm just looking through flights to LHR for next July-August when I'm on holidays and the prices are as expected, higher than other times of the year. That's what you get for peak travel times I guess.

However I've noticed something a little odd and thinking it might be related to the booking system's change over to having QF1 routed via Singapore. If I click say PE QF35 to SIN then QF1 to LHR it says you earn 60 status credits for this trip. Surely this is wrong? I flew last year on a Y sale fare and got 70 SC's each way. I'm guessing that this hasn't been updated properly as of yet? I'm guessing if I used the milage tables or something I'd be able to calculate the actual status credits or am I wrong?

Anyway hopefully somebody can get some good deals out of this sale.

They're only showing the status credits and points for the shorter leg between MEL and SIN. If you search just for MEL-SIN and see the points and SCs for flying that you'll see what I mean. One would have thought this should have been fixed by now. Who knows when they'll update it to include the leg from SIN to LHR? MEL-SIN-LHR on QF should earn the same as SYD-SIN-LHR on QF.

Unfortunately, SIN isn't one of the Sale destinations...

The LAX/SFO fares are the lowest I can recall seeing however. Normally closer to $2999 during Sales. SCL is good but can be as low as $2049.
