I haven't heard anything saying that there WOULD be, but I think it would be great if they did, even just 3 rows at says 7 abreast, would be nice.

I think PE is badly needed on the A330's especially for the MEL-SIN and MEL-HKG routes which we don't have any PE on.

Slightly off topic... but I recall reading a while ago that refubs of the A330s are planned... has anyone heard if these would include PE? I really miss PE on the BKK-SYD flights when QF stopped the 747 on the route....
They'd be mad not to for QFi.....I'd suggest that it's being carefully perused for installation in the QFd A332s as well.

AA A321T experiences ought to be of some interest to QF.

I think with around 20-30 posts per day on here about lack of QFi flights out of PER we understand by now. Yes it's frustrating and pathetic but does it have to be mentioned continually? Maybe you could put it all in one place.

Perhaps in the same place as whinging about what other people post and how other people don't want to read it? ;)

Of course MEL as DXB-LHR as well, do we have CHC or WLG flights or only via SYD?

MEL-WLG was 1xdaily although I notice it is 5 weekly at the moment

CHC is on JQ.

When Qantas flew B747's SYD to BKK, PE was a perfect solution to not paying J fares. The proximity to Business was good, and the food trolley came out of J to serve you the same menu in PE! Same quality beverages as well. I doubt A330's will ever trot out PE, as QF has gobbled up all the space with revenue positive J seats, and Y is suffering availability problems.

Exit seats can be handy for those that want room. Used them on QF to HNL and soon SYD/HKG.

Could be worse. Lack of QF flights out of PER to Asia is even worse! ;) One flight a day to SIN. That's it. Actually, that's the sum of all QFi daily flights out of PER.

Qantas International has never given a toss about Perth.
They got rid of Tokyo and Hong Kong as soon as they could, cut back Singapore to once a day, use Jetstar ASIA planes to Indonesia and Singapore (so there is no chance of PE/J there).
but worse of all they have always used their worst/oldest/most problematic planes out of WA.

here's a couple of thoughts;
why not use a 787 non-stop to London out of Perth???
give us the chance to upgrade with points since it is you who force us to use Emirates metal
give us the same Jetstar Australia planes to asia that you use out of Mel and Syd so we can get a decent seat away from the bogans

As much as the reduction of flights bugs me but Sorry, that is not true. Apart from NRT, the international flights were mostly on the 330's, which are 10-15 years younger than some of the 747's still going around.
When was the last time QF used a jumbo on an international flight out of PER?

Good question. Excluding special/one-off services, my guess would be when they ran direct flights to JNB before handing it all over to SAA. QF also used to operate to HRE out of PER routing via JNB on the return.

The absolute last was probably a B743 to Singapore which I *think* subbed in a few times on the flights to Singapore. There is also the annual antarctic flights, but they don't really count as QFi :p

Call me uneducated, but (never having used it) PE looks to be a complete waste of money.

I'm not going to call you uneducated. But I suggest you try it once on QF and see what your perception is.

It is not business class and does not advertise itself as such. It is a massive improvement over economy but definitely does not match business.

you never flew on those pieces of junk called 767 then that seemed to be perth exclusive, Seats always broken, no ife. overhead movies always malfunctioning, cold food.right after a 1-3 hour delay on the tarmac

Read the quote - for the last 5 or 6 years at least the 767's were the domain of the NRT run. Everything else was 330.
For the record I've flown both and my biggest delay was on QPI which was a 330 last time I checked!
