Thanks for the tips.

I did read upthread that bookings made during DSC can bring double dip benefits, but I hear you. Will take care on bookings.
It may be possible to double dip - but it requires ringing to chase up missing SCs

Applied but online ID verification failed despite holding MyCard not long ago. Continued with the application and on the final screen got a message needing more information from me and 'without any contact from you, your application may not progress further'. Any idea what's happening?

One of my colleagues experienced the identical error a couple of weeks ago and the application was declined in the end.

I’ve used this card to buy business class tickets for myself and my wife for travel early in the new year

We are on the same booking and I have been able to get one of the First Class lounge invitations transferred to my wife’s FF account so the we can assign it to her for our trip

My card’s anniversary date is October this year

I am unable to link the invitation either to myself or my wife for the Sydney departure. The Qantas FF page where you can do this simply says “Not Available” or “Not Transferrable” depending upon which part of the page you are looking at

Is this because the Lounge Invitations must be used (as distinct from assigned) within their validity period or it’s it simply a glitch?

Qantas FF refer me to the Titanium people as a card issue and they refer me to Qantas FF as a Lounge/FF issue

Any insights? Or any advice on who better to talk to other than Concierge or QF FF?

Thanks in advance

They need to be used and not just assigned within the validity period, so if they expire this month, this is likely the reason. If you’re keeping the card, then you should get some new lounge invitations on or around your anniversary date, which should be valid for your flight early in the new year.

Thanks. That’s useful information; much appreciated. Yes, keeping the card ……..
