Greetings, hopeful to get some advice

I have 2 existing lounge passes from last year not expired, and I just surpassed the 150,000 to requalify for points club.

My membership year rolls over October 2022.

I was hoping to get 2 NEW lounge passes now due to my points club requalifying, so my whole family can enter the lounge with me for trip end of August.

The Qantas website says:
"Complimentary Lounge Invitations will be assigned to the member's account within two weeks of qualifying for Points Club"
--> suggesting i will get soon

but somewhere else on the website says..
"If a member requalifies for Points Club in a consecutive year, the Lounge Invitations will be assigned to the member's account within two weeks of their new Membership Year."
--> suggesting i wont get it till October when my membership year rolls over, so I miss out on using them this August.


What are my chances of getting the requalifying lounge passes early?
 
I suspect you will get it at your anniversary. That sort of makes sense cause you still have time to make it to PC+. Otherwise all PC+ members will end up with QC membership plus two passes each year they requall. I guess the double dip is only possible the first qualification year.

Can confirm you won't get your passes until the new membership year - my new membership year has just started, and I re-qualified for Points Club. Comms sent today indicated I'll get my passes within 2 weeks; I suspect from a technical standpoint you don't 'requalify' until your new membership year starts incase you hit Points Club Plus and you get membership instead of passes.
 
The passes only last a year before expiry, so I'd imagine in most circumstances getting them at the end of the year is preferred anyway

Only thing is I'm travelling in 3 weeks and short of one single General pass....to get my daughter in :(
