Has anyone noticed that the Classic Flights Reward Table for PC & PC+ has been "enhanced" ?


Ultra-long international flights (6,501 miles and over) in X used to be 52 SCs. It now seems to be 30 SC.

Wayback Machine suggests no change since Mar 23 last year -:

Wayback suggests 6,501mi+ in X has been 30 SC since at least Oct 2020 (and Points Club was launched in Mar 2020, so it's likely this was the case from the beginning) so I doubt there's any change here.

You may have received 52 SC for an ultra-long haul flight in X to the Europe or USA though, and this is still the case:

Is there any ultra-long haul international flight that isn't already covered by the more specific table further up the page?

AKL-JFK isn't covered (and I'd be pretty bitter if I only got 30 SC for 8,828mi!)

It would at the moment, but I reckon it's just an oversight and they'll add 'Between New Zealand and... East Coast USA' soon enough.

The LHR-SIN fifth freedom is covered by 'Between Europe and... Southeast Asia'.

Hopefully someone from Qantas is trawling and passes this feedback on lol.
 
The distance based table i feel is misleading with its examples as qantas marketed reward flights simply are never available between the given destinations - invariably you'll see the carrier's flight on the ticket, not any code share

I think it's just the catch-all table in case Qantas launch new routes and don't update the other tables - AKL-JFK is a good example.

There are some instances where you can snag a QF marketed award flight operated by another carrier - I believe FJ is the common one, but have read LATAM operated QF marketed awards have also been a thing previously (though the AKL-SCL table entry would apply in this case)
 
Finally getting around to requesting my missing 100 rollover SC (it's only been 5 months since my new membership year started :rolleyes:). Will be interesting to see how long it takes to resolve?

Thanks all ! Email sent. Fingers and toes crossed.
SC now received. Interestingly, they credited me with 112 SC for the outbound flight, rather than 52 SC I originally got for the inbound flight.

I'm almost afraid to ask why, in case they take some SC away from me !

Looks like the newest Marketplace promo is starting 3 days early for PC and PC+ members. 25% off most products when paying with points (only), or 5,000 bonus points for a $250+ cash spend. On from today for PC and PC+, starts from Monday 4 March for everyone else.

Feels like those kind of promo are happening often now. I hope this can be used for some of the green tier challenge

T+4 days and...

Although I haven't received a formal confirmation via email to this effect, I have just noticed that my missing 100 rollover SC were credited to my FF account as of today. 🙌

So, setting aside for one moment that I shouldn't have had to chase this up in the first instance... credit where it's due - I have to admit that this was sorted out much faster - and more painlessly - than I was anticipating (based on some of the horror stories from other AFF members).
 
how long has it taken people to get their vouchers on requalification?

Also seems i have my rollover SC instantly.
