The kangaroo carrier saw the number of seats filled by paying passengers (or revenue seat factor), drop to 78.4 per cent.

This is down from 80.6 per cent one year ago.

Total passenger numbers were off 8.4 per cent on year to 2.78 million.

Virgin Blue had a rise fo about 2% in pax numbers
JQ was down about 1%
