Hi all,
If I use a Qantas Pass credit to book a Red-e-Deal domestic flight, am I able to upgrade that booking using points?

Also, presumably if I don't use all the credit on a booking the remainder stays on the Pass, like a cash balance, right? Its not like you have to use it all up in one go or forfeit any leftover?

Yes

Also correct. You can use your Pass + a Credit Card for a future transaction if your pass balance is insufficient.

Qantas Pass is just like a normal credit card for payment, so you should be able to upgrade still.
Yes and has a balance you can use on another flight.
