Have flown both and would take EK anytime. Consistently more energetic and professional crew most are under 40. QF crew often don't have the same commitment as they did when younger in their careers
QF seats are wider but EK J seats/both similar to CX
Meals should be fine on both
Sit forward away from bar in EK to avoid risk of any bar noise
