There's nothing new in Y apart from less leg room. That's fine, but you've picked a poor airline to promote. Next time, why not try Air New Zealand?

So confirmed 28 J class seat cabin whether you are on an A330-300 or an A330-200, although configurations are different and obviously a different seat count for Y class.

Once/If it is all done, then there will be a consistent J class product across the A330 fleet? So a last minute aircraft swap between a A333/A332 will not result in a loss or gain of J class seats which is good. Will give them a bit more flexibility to swap A332s and A333s between international Asia runs and domestic transcontinental flights. Speaking of QFd and QFi and future A330 fleets - whatever happened to the plan to split the business units up with separate holding companies, AOCs, management etc? Thats all gone a bit quiet.

No, a loss of 2 J seats in the 333 if I am not mistaken. The 332's are losing 8 J seats.

I hope they renumber Y so the rear exit row is the same on all 332 and 333 aircraft (versus 44 and 45 currently used).

Bulkheads for all row 23 seats which is unfortunate.

All I see is 2-3 rows (14-21 seats) of W missing in zone B.

I am in J on QF475 on 12th JAN - I hope it will follow a similar pattern for longer than just the 1 week

Air New Zealand... Hmmm..... last I saw they had 10 across on their 777. Nah I'll stick with the local offering.

Only one lavatory for 28J passengers on the 332 unless I am reading things incorrectly.......should be interesting on the overnight flights.....

Also looks to be a reduction of at least one lavatory in Y on the 333.

The domestic 332's are loosing 8, the international ones also have 30 now, going down by 2.

I was referring to the 36J199Y, but the Recaro domestics are losing 14 seats technically.

Yeah, sorry about that, don't know why but thought the international ones had only 2 rows of J behind the 2nd door. But yeah it is 3.

That is a real coughper if you ask me.
'Pax to can' ratio is important especially with all the Champagne that needs to be consumed and everyone trying to change into PJs all at once.
