Qantas Multi City Booking Question

when you book a Multi City trip is it considered to be a connecting flight i.e i book LST-MEL-SYD-ABX all on the same day. Will Qantas provide connecting baggage and will i get all my BP at the start of the trip?

Yes, so long as all flight segments are the same day.
