PER-BNE red-eye flight in J. Not happy.

I ordered my usual VGML, asked at check-in to confirm it was loaded. Got told it was. Get on board, and they tell me to choose the vegetarian options off the standard J menu (photo below). I'm violently allergic to dairy - there's a reason I order the VGML instead of the VOML. I was therefore unable to eat supper, and got the tiny bowl of fruit (sans yogurt) for breakfast. Not impressed. It wasn't a catering stuff up, they did genuinely expect me to simply order off the menu. Pathetic.

That is a very ordinary offering for Dom J, regardless of your allergies

I would send a note to customer service - you should get a nice voucher to apply towards a future flight if past experience is anything to go by (I'd say in the region of $100-$200)

IMO those are cough menus and I would ask mr Perry to refund his pay cheque. The menu should contain food / product that the majority of people eat and like. Call me a bogan but a chicken parmi with out chips is wrong :) especially replacing with egg plant , I doubt more than 20% of people eat egg plant.

some peoples majority may not be the majority of other peoples :D ... but good to see you took a survey to conclude 'maybe' 20% or less of people eat eggplant

I much prefer eggplant than chips. In J class, I would prefer to have food I may not have everyday.

Same menu we experienced Sept 10 - anyone else tried the beef cheek? Good substitute for shoe leather - would have thought it nigh on impossible to emasculate beef cheek as they did on that flight - soup was delicious though.
