Looking forward to it, out of the attendees list I've only met JessicaTam (First flight to OOL) and Travel Guru (Tweet and Greet).
So look forward to meeting again and meeting others I haven't met before.

I have yet to hear what the actual time of the event is (apart from lunch 'time' that is), but is anyone up for a pre lunch coffee meetup in DeGraves St?

I'll be getting into the CBD around 11:00am, so I'm up for a pre lunch coffee.

Don't know if we need to make our own way from the airport to the CBD, if it's not arranged by QF I'll prob skybus it, unless all the interstaters want to maxi taxi it if it's cheaper? I think Kiwi and myself are likely the last to arrive at 10:20am.

Just ring QF reservations and check.

Apologies I have been away all day visiting clients on the Sunshine Coast and catching up with my wife tonight as it's our 10th wedding anniversary.

I will update the list tomorrow. However Travel Guru and I got emails from Chelsea at 4pm with the flight details - Travel Guru being a great TA, checked the booking and there are 4 of us in the reservation for BNE/MEL on QF609 and MEL/BNE on QF632. I'd like to talk with these other two members (Ian & Matthew) over the weekend.

Chelsea was nice enough to book an earlier flight so I can spend a few hours in the MEL office before the lunch. See you all at Rockpool Bar&Grill.

I added my FF number into the booking & it didnt show up on my bookings, but then rang QF & got them to pick my seats for me, & now its shows up in my bookings.

So how are you going to get row 4 seat if you can't see it in MMB? Don't they know who you are?

As I have yet to be given any booking numbers, I'm pretty sure they know who I am and I'll waltz into the airport on Tuesday morning where a QF person will seek me out and say "here you go Mr Harvyk, a boarding pass for 1A, now please follow me and I'll take you up to the chairman's lounge"...

No? Well one can always wish...

Thats ok - they clearly don't know who i am - they got my last name wrong, and even though i was told they would update immediately yesterday - this morning the same (incorrect) name is still in the booking. I am sure it will get sorted out on monday - but this clearly explains why my DYKWIA protestations have never worked - 'cause they really DKWTFIA

Things aren't looking good for my booking. I have to travel the day before and the email I have is for a 0550 flight. No reference number, so called the 131211 and am not on the flights. Emailed Chelsea and PM'd Redo Roo yesterday, no reply.
Called 131211 again today, no reference to me being on the flights and they confirmed that loyalty don't work weekends .
While I am sure it will be fixed some time Monday, really not looking forward to being at the airport 0500 and being told no flight for you (or the $40 cab ride each way). Any suggestions on where too from here?

Check again tonight, if still not there, don't aim for catching the flight but aim for the 9.30 departure QF967, that will give then time to fix, and there is QF971 as a backup, both have good availability.

Thanks Markis10, I have no doubt it will be sorted, was just the not wanting to miss the flight if I am booked on it and not wanting to do the early trip if not booked on it (if that makes sense).
