Well, they're enclosed!

Should be an interesting scenario once customs confiscate them! Then we'd be debating a photo of someone walking through the airport bare footed. (Oh and surely they are an art exhibit. No one could be so crass as to really wear something as hideous as that!) :mrgreen:

In relation to the lounge, enclosed footwear is not the requirement so the first and last pics in the series in #261 would be fine. It is the toe divider which makes the difference. The third one might be a bit line ball depending on who is on the door - a divider but looks like a sandal.
 
Perhaps Qantas should spend more energy on policing the standards of their lounges rather than policing the standard of their customers footwear
