Qantas Johannesburg Lounge

If you have Priority Pass, the Bidvest Premier Lounge in Johannesburg is also surprisingly decent. Staffed bar, a better buffet than the Aspire Lounge and a la carte dining. It’s also a bigger physical space.

Just got back from JNB in First. Wouldn’t rush to the BA lounge early if you don’t need to. Dining room was at least private, but the food average. Pasta was inedible, burger fine but could have gotten one in the terminal for 100rand. Moet champagne was on offer.

Got there at about 3. It was quiet but filled up before the 2 BA 380s and QF64 departure times approached. Business section was a zoo.

Onboard reminded me why I don’t make a habit of flying Qantas. Seat is comfortable but service and catering very meh. SQ J on the way over was a far superior experience.
