Qantas - it's worse than it looks

They reap as the sow.

There was a time many wouldn't dream of flying with anyone else. Then came 'incidents', offshore maintenance, non existent customer relations, cancelled routes, price fixing convictions, fines that probably get built into prices, and non existent legroom. So we tried Vaustralia, loved it, and love the savings we can spend on the actual holiday.

I can't say that I'm surprised,Qantas is probably no worse off financially, and possibly better off than many other airlines around the world at the moment.

Umm how many flights to V Australia actually have? Would they make that much impact on QF's financial performance?

Just on seat pitch:

BA WT - 31"
Aer Lingus Economy - 31"
AF - 32"
SQ (A380) - 32"
DJ (Embraer) - 30-31"

What is so bad about QF?

They reap as the sow. .

The arrogance in the good times.....

ie changes to the FF program when there was no Aussie competitior (ie gloabl rewards or Velocity)

poor service and much higher pricing than competitors then we had direct earn credit cards... arrogance the lot of it... no wonder more pax are moving from QF to DJ by the day (based on the last few months pax stats).
