Qantas Hotels & Holidays bonus point promos

Ask and ye shall receive Jimmy. Triple Points Frenzy (9 points per dollar) is back on another week (20 to 26 July). T&C's:

Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn 9 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on all Qantas Hotels booked through qantas.com/hotels from 12:01am (AEST) 20 July until 11:59pm (AEST) 26 July (excluding Airbnb, and Fly & Stay Packages booked through qantas.com/holidays), for stays with a check-out date before 27 July 2027. To be eligible, the name of the lead traveller must match the name associated with the Qantas Frequent Flyer number. Some prices may have been rounded up to the nearest whole number when displayed in our search results. The price you pay will be the actual non-rounded price (which will be slightly less). The amount of Qantas Points you earn will be based on the actual price you pay, not the rounded up price. QBR Members: Qantas Business Rewards members will earn 12 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on all hotels booked through their Qantas Business Rewards Account made up of 9 Qantas Points for the Frequent Flyer and 3 Qantas Points for the business. Accor Bookings: Bookings made for Accor hotel offers during the campaign period will not earn triple points but will earn 9 Qantas Points per A$1 spent instead of the standard 4 Qantas Points. Points Club: Points Club members will earn 25% more Qantas Points, and Points Club Plus members will earn 50% more Qantas Points. Deposit Pay: This offer applies to bookings made with Deposit Pay on select properties, eligibility criteria and conditions apply.. Qantas Points Terms: Qantas Points can be earned on purchases made with credit/debit card only and the credit/debit card component of Points Plus Pay purchases, conditions apply. Qantas Points can be earned on the credit/debit card component when a voucher is used for payment. If your booking is amended in the future, you will not earn the Bonus Points but will earn the points applicable for the booking at the time of amendment. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more members occupying the same room. To earn Qantas Points, quote your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number when booking. Qantas Points will be credited to your account within 8 weeks of hotel check-out. Terms and conditions apply.

I almost posted yesterday that there’ll probably be one after the 10x QF Wine promo finished…

Those T&Cs are throwing me. Mrs Rich needs to make a refundable booking, she is PC, should be PC+ at the time of travel, also has QBR and to top it off it will be an Accor hotel. I am guessing it is best to book as QBR and just see what points land.

So make a refundable booking. Pay the min 20% deposit (if offered), the rest gets paid later.

An Accor hotel will earn 9x pts per dollar, plus 50% bonus as PC+ at time of stay.

The QBR account will earn 3x points per dollar that count towards QBR Tier level.

The only catch is no guaranteed ALL Accor status benefits or ALL points if booking via QF Hotels v booking direct.

So the current promo includes stays up to and including checkout dates through to 27 July 2027.

But the booking engine has stubbed out July 2027. It was there last night out to mid July. I’d researched a short list of places in BCN mid July and when I saw the 3x promo, I crossed checked the prices on Expedia (identical). Went back to QF and “no can do”!

😡

Fabulous; been waiting for this as we have a splurge trip to Bora Bora next March. Was able to cancel the existing booking and rebook (for slightly less, no less). The splurge is slightly easier to handle knowing there will be a 150,000+ points windfall coming after to soften the blow of the credit card statement. 😅

Same problem. What I could get last week and can still get on other booking platforms is not available on Qantas now. Qantas lose the sale then.

It’s weird. QF use Expedia and they’re booking out to Nov 2027.

I’ll probably call to make reservations over the phone. I wrote down the prices last night.

Hey @SYD if you happen to have Qantas Business Rewards the calendar still goes out to mid July.

Thanks. Slightly less days than last night. All a bit weird.

I was going to say that going via QBR wouldn’t earn the 3x points but the QBR portal does indeed show it. eg
