Qantas Hotels & Holidays bonus point promos

This promo is back for the next 2 weeks, but the pillar/eligible amounts have changed:

• 2,000 points whens you spend $500-999
• 5,000 points when you spend $1,000-1,999
• 15,000 points when you spend $2,000-2,999
• 25,000 points when you spend $3,000-4,999
• 50,000 points when you spend $5,000 or more

I have taken advantage of some of these offers in the past, but the spend/bonus point ratio doesn't quite add up for me with this one.

I guess if you were planning to make a $5,000+ hotel booking through Qantas, the 50,000 points is quite attractive.

Prob something like this in the recent past. I got two “random” 3,000 bonuses. Not sure why but did go look see and really not sure

I received a 'random' 3000 points from qantas Hotels in addition to the qantas hotels points i was expecting and didnt have a clue how i earned it. I now know that i must have made a qantas hotel booking during a simillar promotion. i am not complaining and will look for simillar emails.

New promo: 10,000 bonus points on 'fly and stay' packages through Qantas Holidays for the next 2 weeks. No minimum spend threshold, but it does obviously require both flights and accommodation to be included in the booking. It must also be paid fully in cash (any bookings with points or voucher redemptions don't count. Deposit pay also is excluded from this promo). T&C's:

You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem points. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. Anyone here do their QF Hotels booking via the QBR portal?

I started a new thread and curious/concerned that I’ve been missing out on a LOT of QBR points that probably would have counted towards QBR Tier also…

Since opening a QBR account in late 2019 I’ve just added my ABN to QF Hotels bookings via the regular QF Hotel booking portal. Those stays post to QBR at 1pt/$ (in addition to the personal 3pts/$ plus any promos and PC/PC+ points). Until recently I was oblivious that they count towards QBR Tier points - assuming it was just flying!*

Digging deeper, I see that QF Hotels are supposed to post to QBR at 3pts/$ IF booked via the QBR portal!

Is this a major Rookie mistake on my part? Can anyone confirm this or perhaps equally embarrassed that they’re missing out?

SYD+1 and I both just received another of those 3K bonus points. Mine posted at the same time as a hotel stay but still don’t recall which promo it was…

Oddly, they counted towards “Flying” points towards PC/PC+….
