Hey gang,

See below if you are keen - I’ve been with them on the up to 150k offer and have spent 60 days with them or so and they have been really good with claims turnaround time.

Just need to hold for 60 days

If you’re interested in Qantas Health Insurance, you can use my unique referral code ERICYH to sign up to combined Hospital and Extras cover and we could both earn 5000 bonus Qantas Points. This is on top of any other points you’ll get for taking out a new policy. Not available if you’ve recently held a health insurance policy issued by nib. Eligibility criteria and T&Cs apply.

To get a quote call 13 49 60, or search ‘Qantas Health Insurance’.

This offer is not available if your friend has recently held health insurance issued by nib, or if they sign up with Qantas Health Insurance during an “up to 140,000” sign-on Qantas Points offer.

Hey mate , Are they any good with the extras and payments ; as is do we have to go to a specific dentist/optometrist or they cover any provider.

Hey mate - yep they are quite good up to 75% cash back at any provider for extras, up to the limit. Payment is easy, take a photo of receipt, upload to wellbeing app and if approved you get paid in circa 3 business days

For dental and optom they have preferred ones that are free of charge, otherwise they cover up to your limit. P.s. doing a free quote gives u 250 or 500 QFF anyway, and then choose what suits you the best.

EDIT: there’s also a sign up bonus for 120k (but read the TnC

If you are using them to churn off and retain the points (points per $$ outlay), good and well.

If you are signing up to have actual health insurance, read the coverage details (noting Qantas is a white label of nib) very carefully.

Same goes for signup bonus on any health insurance product.

Yep totally agreed with this point, I am personally going back to Bupa after my churn ends

Agree with @docjames

Qantas Health/NIB do not have the best record with/as NoGap providers
Surgeon and anaesthetist mates will not use them as they don't pay as well as the others funds @KingHuang
To quote one "they are cr*p".

Claiming is easy for the patient though as you say.

...end up in hospital at any point in the next 60 days and they are the most expensive points you'll ever acquire.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
