Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

So after my recent saga of an offset never being deducted or applied, the green tick has now been applied to my account, but the reward not available for choosing.
The email asked me to wait 21 days before escalating... the wait begins.

I contacted support today and they said they'd look into it and get back within 10 working days - curious how long it took them to get back to you?

Three days. They are now communicating with a “specialist team” to resolve the issue.

How are recent experiences for achieving the sustainable stays leaf, timing after checkout and properly crediting to unlock green tier when is the final hurdle?

I got my 4th leaf from th e Ovolo two days after checking out check out officially on Sunday and got it on the Tuesday

I’m in the Exact same boat. That said, this happened to me last membership year (which was only last month) and reward option appeared after a few days. I’ve managed to snag the 5 green leaves again in the space of the month since then.

Hey - how long did it take for you to be able to select the reward? My account is now showing all 5 leaves, funnily enough it says the following;

You’ve retained Green Tier for this Membership Year. Enjoy your benefits until Invalid Date.

GT retained a few weeks ago, choice of points/SC's came up within a day thanks to Qantas Wine.
App saying GT till June 2026 (I get that)


Holding off on selecting 50 SC's till 1 July - be interesting to see if in 33 days, I get till Invalid date.....

You'll be fine to hold on to those 50 SC... a very nice start to the new year I must say!

I had exactly this until yesterday when I went into the app and got the congratulations screen and to select my reward, sadly couldn't select anything.

Emailed Qantas and they said they will get back to me in 2-3 days. System has a few bugs it seems

Green Tier is (sadly) for the bin, so I guess the devs are being used elsewhere… with the amount of calls and emails they seem to be getting, maybe posting one dev to keep the lights on might be worthwhile?
