Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

That said, I had to request manual points and green tier credit, which was a bit of a pain, as it all happened after my membership year end.
I really hope this isn't the case for me as it's rather important that I get it within 5 weeks - but thanks for your reply, it's extremely informative. I can see the hotel booking showing in my qf apps upcoming trips so I'm hoping it isn't the same for me - will report back though. I assume if points credit correctly then the leaf will too. I managed to get 4/5 leaves showing this week so the hotel is my last.

I could see the hotel booking as normal in my Qantas hotel bookings too. Hopefully my situation was exceptional, but I'd make sure you have paper receipt from checkout etc. I'd also consider perhaps charging something to your room so there's something additional to process at checkout (ie a final bill to settle, rather than just confirming all is pre-paid) as that also might trigger the kind of reconciliation that's required.

Without wishing to add to your stress over this, when I contacted Qantas about it around 2 weeks after the stay (and just before the end of my membership year, which was relevant for earning green tier) they said that because Qantas hotel points can take up to 8 weeks to credit, there's nothing they can do about missing points until that window has elapsed.

Requested to offset a flight with points a few days ago, a few days after work paid cash for the ticket
Nothing has happened, showing as requested on the booking page.
Any recent experiences with resolving this? Just to save calling the wrong number or going around in circles...

I had one a couple of months ago that showed as requested up until the flight. It never got processed. I never really followed up beyond one call...

Mine went from requested to this status around 4 days after requesting. Leaf showed up immediately. Exact same situation as you - work paid for the ticket. IIRC they say it may take up to 7 days to go through, but if your points were debited then you should be good. This offset was requested last week.

Ah ok good to know. Points were not deducted. I guess I'll wait a couple days and call on day of flight if it doesn't eventuate
 
The offset leaf has routinely not appeared for me even well after flights are taken, and I’ve had to email frequent_flyer@Qantas to ask them to investigate. I’m currently waiting until less than 90 days before the end of my membership year so that I can decide which year to credit the SC to.
 
It’s been 4 weeks since the third of my three paid Resmart pickups inside 6 months and no green leaf yet. I’ll wait the two more weeks until following up.
 
Do let us know how you go. I’m in a similar position having just completed my 3rd pick up 2 weeks ago
 
i have 3 upcoming domestic return flights booking through work on one booking reference, so 6 flights in total. Currently it only gives option to offset all 6, instead of singly. Does anyone know if I can request to offset just one of the flights? Or if I take first 5 flights, will I then have option to offset 6th and last before flying?

No email yet for the status credits either, I fly in 10 days and exactly 50 status credits off gold.
Amazing some leafs are instant, others months. I'll call early next week if no status credit email
 
How are recent experiences for achieving the sustainable stays leaf, timing after checkout and properly crediting to unlock green tier when is the final hurdle?

I contacted support today and they said they'd look into it and get back within 10 working days - curious how long it took them to get back to you?

Email was quick over the weekend, hours.
I had emailed earlier, at around 4 weeks and they replied to wait until 6 weeks
I emailed 2 days ago to say that the leaf is applied but it's got an error on the valid until date, got a reply saying they have escalated and will get back to me yesterday
I'm really hoping I can take my family in the lounge next trip, my running theory is it'll get applied 11th hour after escalting

Ok thanks for the info! I actually called in and got transferred to "the team that looks after green tier" -> but when they picked up, they said it was the "qff and loyalty department". They told me to look out for their email over the next 10 business days. Ideally it is sorted by then, as I am flying ULH soon with them.

ive got this issue atm, has been pending for weeks. flying next week so want it to go through, is my last leaf required. emailed them to day so will see what they say..

I stayed at Laneways by Ovolo Melbourne on Wed 13/5 (Split Enz concert) and received the Leaf on Tue 19/5. Not the final hurdle though.
