Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I've got a trip booked with multiple passengers. Seems like its only possible to offset all passengers on the booking in one go. If one passengers does the offset, does this mean the "offset" leaf will be satisfied for all passengers then?
I offset our upcoming QFd trip and green leaf appeared for me and Mr Flyfrequently @merp1811 and @SYD
(cost less than ten bucks for return MEL-OOL, leaf appeared next day or so, as did the points earned per $)

Well, that’s useful to know. Hasn’t worked for me in the past (2x PAX) so usually just add it on a SYD-MEL return at time booking (about $2).

Yes, the leaf and points (for the offset) usually post within 48 hrs - irrespective of travel date.

I believe "at the time of booking" has the leaf added more readily than adding later @SYD
(Mr Flyfrequently had no idea about his leaf 🤭 - I had to check his app to clarify!)

Yes, lots of reports here complaining about no leaf after retrospective adding offset. Although, I believe that has been fixed now (according to at least one recent report up thread).

Has anyone noticed that the supposed challenge in the Qantas Health App as 1 of the 5 is simply not there
I emailed Qantas but got a response basically saying tough luck working on it etc
Had anyone else been able to access it ?

I had 3/5 leaves and was waiting on the Offset Flying leaf from flights on 19Feb24. Ticked the box to Offset Flying and pay with points during the booking process. Screenshot taken from My Bookings page said: "Your request to offset this trip has been submitted. You will help offset blah blah..."

Emailed frequent_flyer @ qantas on 26Feb to request follow-up, expecting to see the points deducted then green leaf 4/5 appear.

Also mentioned the quiz does not appear in the Wellbeing App (for leaf #5) and keen to get this sorted before April year-end.

Reply from Qantas Frequent Flyer on 29Feb (my bold highlight):

Dear Lat34,

We apologise for the delayed response. We have successfully added the Offset Flying on your Green tier activities. In regards with the Wellbeing quiz which is currently unavailable, you can make a donation to The Great Barrier Reef Foundation or Kimberly Land Council as an alternative since it will take time for the quiz to reset. May this information helps and if you need further assistance, please call us at 13 11 31.

Thank you for your patience and continued loyalty to Qantas.

Kind regards,
Ros

Leaf 4/5 appeared and points not deducted (so far?). Email back 29Feb to say thanks for the Offset Flying leaf but I already have the "Give Back" leaf through an earlier OzHarvest donation (with screenshot), could not see how further donations would work and indicated I was counting on the Wellbeing Quiz for "Reduce your impact" to complete the final category.

No further correspondence from QFF (yet?) but logged in today to discover five green leaves plus Choose your Reward has appeared:

I hadn't been able to access the Wellbeing Quiz (aiming to achieve Green Tier for the 2nd year), but just looked at my app to ensure that the "Offset Flying" leaf had appeared after paying a few $$ to offset a flight booked on the last day of the DSC promo. Colour surprised to see that not only has my "Offset Flying" leaf appeared, but the "Reduce Your Impact" leaf has also been (randomly) applied.

Consistently inconsistent (not that I'm exactly complaining in this instance) 😜

I was just scrolling through this thread to see if anyone had this same thing occur. Low and behold! I booked a simple SYD-MEL during the double FF/SC promotion and used the opportunity to offset my flying during booking. Apparently this is the elusive "Reduce Your Impact" quiz everyone was looking for. 😯 I have not gained any other green leaves this membership year or done anything else with Qantas to cause this to happen.

Weird - I'm in the same position as you, but I don't have the "Reduce Your Impact" leaf (and the quiz doesn't appear for me either)!

Consistently inconsistent indeed :D

Some of the wines in the bundle have a green leaf tho
Yes, but if the item (in this case the mixed doz) doesn’t have a leaf, then I wouldn’t expect to get the GT leaf.

There are plenty of reasonable value wines there now with leaves if that’s something you need. From memory, the “green” delivery is the same GT leaf and can be had for about $1.

Any recent experience on how long after completing an activity you get the green tick ?

I offset my Tassie Holiday home and made a charity donation a couple of days ago but my account doesn’t yet reflect either of them.
I have until the end of May to get them.

It was no more than 3 days for me, at the last point I did it. I offset my TAS place on the 19th of that month (together with a climate-positive delivered charitable donation), and the status gift was selected on the 22nd when it showed up.

Cheers,
Matt.
