Has anyone had recent experience successfully retrospectively applying for an offset with points and:
1. Actually had the points deducted, and
2. Received a leaf?

A few weeks ago I had tried to add an offset to a future SYD-MEL flight. I think it was something like 190pts. I had very low expectations that it would register but thought I should get one in the system and maybe race to do one last GT in my new member year.

Anyway, the points still haven’t been deducted. There was no email acknowledging the request but it does show in MMB that it was requested.

Yes, it ultimately took the 21 days they asked me to wait after calling up, resolved by ff call centre over the phone if I recall correctly
