Qantas free sign up + 10,000 points promotion

Is anyone aware of a sutable freebie or very low cost promotion whereby one could easily pick up 10,000 qantas points?

As I recently mentioned in another thread, from application to points credited was about two weeks.....

QFF Free signup and 10k points in Dec 2014

Morning all, saw this sent through to everyone at work courtesy of our travel company.
Free QFF membership is nothing new, however the free 10k points on signup is.

I would guess and say if you're reading this you're already a QFF member, but it's a good opportunity to sign up your kids and newborns to take advantage of family transfers. Watch out for the 18 month point expiry though of course

That's the same "Earn 10k in the first 3 months and we'll give you another 10k" promo that's been running for a little while now.
