Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

I managed to spend $30.05 last night and grab a hard copy fuel voucher, if I need milk and fuel I will be using that rather than going for the points.

I have now made 2 purchases with points at Caltex Woolworths since the 'swap' option came in.

Interestingly enough, seems as though the Woolworths POS system hasn't been very well set up. Upon scanning my card today, the cashier told me 'there is no discount today'. I told her I had already switched and the comment back was something like 'well, my screen doesn't show me that'. Nothing was recorded on the receipt, except for the EDR card number.

Last time I bought fuel, it was from a Caltex owned site, and their POS has actually been set up to state on receipts "vist (EDR website) to see how many points were earnt today"

Can see the problems with the Woolworths POS setup causing issues, especially for those who don't frequently use the card. Guess I'll just keep the receipt until the points credit to EDR

Always good advice with EDR, they seem to have too many problems to just accept that things will work.

Well I'm a happy bunny today, not only did I get an email from EDR offering triple points for transactions over $30.00 this week but they also sent me 200 points as a birthday gift for tomorrow.:):)

It would be interesting to read the data mining rules they have put in place, there seems to be a few to the extent there is no real pattern!

They can mine all they want on me as long as they send me relevant offers I can use, preferably with large bonus points :p

A new Woolworths Caltex opened near me but they don't take Fleetcard, or motorpass, but they do take Amex and Diners at no surcharge.
Too bad guess I will have to go somewhere else for petrol as it would have been handy.

Hopefully the 50 points for the dynamo refill (900ml) I bought will come through. On offer until Dec 31.

In W.A. - ALL CREDIT CARDS HAVE A SURCHARGE at pretty much every PETROL STATION!!! AMEX is just "HIGHER" than MC or VISA. Why? Why? Why?

Because the RBA reforms to help consumers were a crock of coughe and consumers/consumer groups are not strong enough to fight the retailers.

MY points from the cheese promotion finally credited, no need to chase them, just wait till the end of time…
