Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

I have just returned from purchasing petrol at Woolies Calte,x when presenting my RE card I was told that I did not have a discount offer on my card. I had recently changed my offer to 2c/2 QFF points.

I knew I had shopped at Woolies recently so I have just checked my ER account the fuel tracker does not show my purchase and fuel credit even though I have still got my docket dated 24/9/10 and it says a fuel saver offer has been credited. On checking my QFF transfer on Every day rewards account it shows the 80 points transferred to my QFF account for the exact same purchase!?

I have just tried to email Every day rewards and 3 times it came up with a msg that I had to try again later. This is frustrating as I have had to retype every time.

Has anyone else had this problem with the fuel saver?

Someone mentioned phoning them, is there a phone number to call?

Your experience is normal, the attendants are used to seeing the fuel discount, they dont see the points being credited instead, no big deal.

Thanks for the phone number.

Markus10 I still should have got 2c off (not that it amounts to much) but I was more concerned about the Qff points. And also I still should have had it showing on my account from the woolies purchase. As I use a considerable amount of petrol the points will add up. Every little bit helps.

I will give them a call thank you

I think you have to choose between the points or discount. You don't get both so I don't think you will get 2 cents off and points. Basically, you get 1 point per litre for every 2cents of discount you give up.

The 2c off if you are taking points is only if you spend $5 or more in the servo, AFAIK.

Thanks for your information. I have just reread the offer and I don't know where I got the 2c/2Qff idea. As long as I get the points I will be happy, that will be my main reson for purchasing petrol there.

Thanks for setting me straight, saves me contacting them.

My 2 x 400 points for the fresh food promo also credited on Friday. Still yet to see the 700 for 3 brand shops promo credit (as per the others on here).

Wait and see (they did say that they were all being done manually last time I called them on Wednesday, but they also said the points should credit by Friday, and they didn't all credit).

I received my 2 x 400 points as well, and am still missing my 700 points.
If EDR are doing the 700 points bonus manually, we will be waiting until Xmas to receive the points. Great system...NOT

Well, the 700 points finally posted to my EDR account today. As transfers to QFF seem to take place on Thursdays or Fridays, my guess is next week ... or maybe +1 for Xmas.

Not sure if this was noted/mentioned at the time but the change to points for fuel means the extra discount by spending $5 instore will not attract any extra discount if you are collecting points.

So you can’t double-dip with fuel savings and points. But can you turn your 4¢ voucher into an 8¢ voucher with a $5 spend and get more points?

Ahh good. I see they hit my EDR account but not my QF account yet.

Interestingly enough, the 2 x 400 promo hit last week and it's listed in my EDR account but no mention of the xfer over.

Hopefully the 700 come through overnight:)

Nice promo, just annoying when they can't stick to their own T&C's when it comes to crediting times.

I am sticking with the discount.

I fill up my Pajero every send week and with it's larger tank the 4 cent voucher is good value.

When I fill it up I also get the two by 2litre milks for $5 deal which gets me the extra 4 cents off. With about 80 odd litres of petrol that means the 4 litres of milk only costs me $1.80 or less. Not huge, but every little but helps.;)

Thats what I have been doing!

+3 with my humble Subaru Forester and either milk or chocolates deal (depends on how many brownie points I need ;))

I was half right. The points posted to my QFF account today, which happens to be ... Friday.

Finally got mine as well. I'm guessing these 700 pt offers will take longer from now on after what happened last time :)

Obviously the ones that just need one purchase are more easily handled then the 3 store ones which much need cross checking databases
