Qantas - Emirates Award flight Discussion

whats TT?
Take your pick. Pretty much like this from Jan thru to July (as they come online). This is for 2x PAX.

A few seats here and there MEL/SYD to DXB but they are seats that people are cancelling IMO
I doubt all these (again for 2x PAX) are cancellations? Although, they’re mostly the coughty 6am flight ex SYD.

What dates? There are several routes with F this side of Xmas but things fall off a cliff across all classes Feb/Mar 2026. Same issue ex AKL also.

My apologies it was SYD > LGW and it was 3rd October.

No issue with seats from AU to DXB from now until Feb. Tey getting one from March onwards, in any class...
That’s what I said earlier.

Yet, at least J awards are available from non Oz/NZ ports. Bizarre.

It’s like there’s some “Zone” issue / bug in the search results (or what’s happening between EK and QF).

I don’t believe it’s some sinister conspiracy theory - probably some intern f’up. Who’s intern - who knows…

Nope I check daily

It's ENHANCED
Not sure what you mean, @VPS had originally mentioned I was lucky to flights from ADL on QR. My point of clarification to @VPS was that i had booked the QR flights via the QR web site using QR Avios/miles, nothing to do with QF or EK. Sorry for any confusion.

I actually wonder if EK is no longer offering reward seats from Asia to Dubai?
I find it bizarre that I cannot even find seats in distressed inventory ex-HKG/SIN/BKK...
Not even in Economy for next week...

It’s very weird, usually there are tonnes on the 5th freedom between HK and BKK. Very frustrating

It's a shame we'll have to wait until Jan/Feb for all these bloggers/seat award helpers work out they won't have much to push since you can't get J/F out of AU anymore on EK.....

Or we get very bored watching them get to the SYD F Lounge and fly back and fourth to CHC.

I think QFF has a huge bill they want to get down from all the EK F seat costs and will eventually open them up

They have to be blocking these seats as AP has seats in F

So has emirates pretty much disappeared from Qantas apart from when booking to or out of Australia right?

Quite the opposite. Getting flights out of Oz (other than NZ) disappeared from around March 2026 onwards. But flights out of Asia and other places are there.

Really I’m finding the opposite. No emirates flights out or to Asia.

Same here. Was thinking getting a reward ticket out of Asia into Europe and nothing is found.
Yeah its annoying, im currently based in Bangkok. so before was great flying into dubai. But now my only options are like Sri lankan airlines, or the odd cathay.
