More strange behaviour where SIN-DXB in F is available, but only when booked as KUL-SIN-DXB starting with MH. Married segments between separate airlines??

As long as Dubai is not the starting or ending location, you might see the F seats

At this stage I have all but given up on EK F. For the family trip next year all on rewards Mrs&MissN have J QR ADL-DOH-LHR (q-suites), I have EK F HND-DXB-LHR, yes we are starting in different locations and we have been doing this for years due to my work. Coming back Mrs&MissN have HEL-HND-SYD-ADL although I was going to change them to EK F before things went south. I have HEL-BRU (J) BRU-DXB (EY F) DXB-HND (EK J). I am not holding my breath for DXB-HND to open up in F and will most likely cancel that flight closer to the time and use my fall back option of HEL-NRT, HND-SYD-ADL. I have been taking advantage of EK F for many years and am somewhat disappointed it has all turned to s**t over the past past month. Quite frankly I have given up on looking and if some one posts the 'aha moment' things are back to normal (if ever) I may take some more interest in looking.

A lot of routes where I previously received search results for F, don't even have the column at all in the search results.

Glad I'm not the only one noticing strange behaviour.

There are little dribs and drabs if you really search for it but overall its pretty hard

So one month down and still the same issues

I ended up booking 1 x SQ J on points and purchased 3 x SQ J seats for my July EU trip

I have another trip in December that I need 4 x J seats for, I would really love to use my QF points but doubt this "issue" will ever be resolved.

Consider EK redemptions "enhanced"

The QR flights were booked direct with QR using Avios not QF points.

So many issues with the search since it’s been enhanced. Multi shows something, normal search shows something else. Very hard to make sense of whats really on offer.

It’s did find one F flight EU to AU and it’s over $1800 in taxes

Yeah I did manage to get a half is J and half in F for 2 in June from HK to EU

I saw availability SYD > JNB so they are still showing in rare cases. Certainly far fewer than just a month or two ago though. No availability at all for any of the routes I'm interested in.

What dates? There are several routes with F this side of Xmas but things fall off a cliff across all classes Feb/Mar 2026. Same issue ex AKL also.

Yes seats continue to show Sept/Oct as people cancel or more award seats are added..

But March onwards is NOPE

It actually looks like there’s still a lot of inventory that just wasn’t booked - after all, the excessive EK imposed charges are a turn off for most.

Which makes this all a bit weirder.

Stuff stopped coming thru into QF for some routes/classes but what was already there stayed until it gets used or flies off unused…
