I've had no trouble getting it allocated in the lounge. Was offered row 4 at T-80 for $55 as a WP, then not available at online check-in this morning. Expertflyer shows the seats as blocked, so theoretically not occupied.
Has anyone had luck getting a row 4 seat at the airport under this new regime?
Perhaps for some sectors - I mainly fly MEL-SYD and MEL-PER and it’s rare for me to keep a shadow. Had much better luck in row 6 as WP.I suppose the WP1s are loving their shadows when there are actually WP1s on board in Y.

I’ve had the same experience as you two weeks back. Was offered row 4 at T-80 for $55 as a WP, then not available at online check-in this morning. Expertflyer shows the seats as blocked, so theoretically not occupied.

I paid $45 each for NTL-MEL last year @henrus$77 on a CHC-BNE as WP at T-80 for Row 4. no thanks
$45 on AKL-BNE for me, I wonder how they calculate these?$77 on a CHC-BNE as WP at T-80 for Row 4. no thanks
There is someone with a spin wheel and as each flight reaches T-80 they spin the wheel and assign a price.$45 on AKL-BNE for me, I wonder how they calculate these?
Dynamic pricing….?There is someone with a spin wheel and as each flight reaches T-80 they spin the wheel and assign a price.
Two things:Dynamic pricing….?
It was a joke in keeping with your spin wheel comment. Two things:
1: Nope that would put the intern out of a job. Need to keep someone employed to spin the economy plus wheel.
2: You think QFs IT is that capable.
