Like the Sale that just finished! I unfortunately had to cancel a trip (from the Mar 25 DSC), and rebooked to go to DEL via MEL (return).

The current NZ “Sale” doesn’t look that exciting…

I've still got a DSC from this offer in the bank. For the J runs to Auckland which type of business fare do you book? - I think the options were sale, saver and something else.

For me my trip wasn't a pure status run.
I used Qantas points flying to Auckland & a one way sale fare coming back.

Depends what you need… East Coast to NZ (before DSC and without a connection) is 80/85/90 each way, depending on the J earn category, so do the math and figure out how cheaply you can do what you need

I haven't got a particular target in mind, but I do want to bank some SC's while I have the DSC offer available so I need less towards the end of my QFF year.

Oof. I thought I had it tough flying MEL-SYD-AKL-BNE-MEL in J the other year...

I booked my Ool-Mel-Akl, Akl-Mel-Syd in J in July next year using the multicity tool so I have one PNR. It was actually $70 cheaper if I booked it as 2 oneways (so 2 PNRs) but if I had to cancel it would cost me A$200 + NZ$200...on one PNR, the cancellation cost is just A$200.

The SCs for each flight posted whilst I was in flight, and all double SCs posted within 24 hours of the last flight The 530 SCs have brought my total to 1191 SCs

Yeah I could have taken an earlier flight to get home sooner but didn't wsnt anyone to touch the booking!
