QANTAS drops vaccination requirement from 19 July.

No sense of whether online checkin will return for travel to countries where proof of vaccination is not required.
Online checkin already works, it worked for my trip to NZ (you just upload your proof of vaccination to OLCI).

As a data point, I flew with Qantas last weekend from LAX-MEL and was not asked for my Covid vaccination certificate at any point of the journey.

I flew GRB-ORD-DFW-SYD last week and was asked for it everywhere.
The QF Agent in the Flagship lounge in DFW was finally able to issue my BP. She was checking all of the Vaccine certificates for all pax.

I'm sure this is noted elsewhere, but hey I'm being lazy! Are the Covid -19 Digital Certificates on our apps (Eg. Service NSW) enough or is something else required to be shown?

Something else:
Thank you! Have completed it through the Medicare app now. I assume if/when the 4th Jab is taken it's all automatically updated.

Weird. My routing was IAD-LAX-MEL-CBR with the first leg on United and the rest on QF. The United rep at IAD did not ask me for any covid-related documentation (I even volunteered my vax certificate, but she said the computer wasn't asking for it) and issued my boarding passes for all flights. I was never asked for my vax certificate at LAX either.

You'll need to request a new certificate after you've had your 4th jab.
Noted thanks. Next trip is not until October so it might all change before then (It's been so long, I'm getting excited already about the trip)
