Qantas delays this arvo

Does anyone know what the story is with the Qantas delays this afternoon. Cancellations from CBR-SYD, MLB-CBR etc. Apparently two aircraft have mechanical issues?

Landing at melb is like a roller coaster ride.

Exceptionally windy which apparently is leading to catering, baggage and refueling delays. And no rear deboarding either ...

Flew from MEL at 5pm yesterday. Lightening had ground staff indoors, high winds had delays and Sydney was down to one runway.

Not in Melbourne ... often we get hot days followed by such a front passing through.

I had my cbr-syd flight canceled, got bumped to a later one and then had to *run* through the terminal to make my syd-per flight.

They actually announced on the Sydney flight just prior to landing that any pax connecting to Perth needed to go to the service desk, but when I got roim to the terminal the board indicated the flight was still boarding, not closed.
