Qantas Delays/Cancellations

'The 37' with A388 VH-OQD is the Friday 28 November 1650 hours MEL to SIN. It wasn't airborne until 1822 hours, so SIN at gate arrival will be about 2303 hours, 63 late. Again, QF38 back down to MEL will be delayed.

It's a small sample of flights but in the brief period they've been an A380, QF37/38 have unimpressive timekeeping, and a cancellation each way.

@ABC1, they're not 'all late' (assuming you were referring to the same flights as I am below).

QF63 from SYD to JNB on Friday 28 November should arrive about 10 minutes early, while QF2 from LHR to SIN should be about a minute early at its destination gate. I've not checked the others.

Melbourne T1 had a fire in the terminal tonight, resultant cancellation of all but a couple QF domestic flights for the remainder of the night. Arriving aircraft spent up to 2 hours on the tarmac in a queue unable to reach a gate

Sunday 30 November 2025 has seen QF34 from PER across to SYD cancelled, because the flight did not operate into or out of Paris' CDG airport as QF33/34.

Presumably due to insufficient A333s in Perth, QF6025 is an empty flight with A333 VH-QPF that was scheduled as an 1105 hours departure airborne at 1254, with gate arrival suggested as 1441 hours, an hour late.

QF19 (1205 hours lunchtime SYD up to MNL) has stablemate -QPG. It was airborne at 1315 hours with gate arrival 45 late at 1815 expected.

QF104 from HNL down to SYD on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 has had the same aircraft: A333 VH-QPK. On each day it either landed or is expected to do so at 1921, so by the time it gets to the gate tonight should be 66 minutes late. (Is -QPK correct - if so, is it a very recent addition to the fleet?)
