The return QF12 LAX-SYD (A388 VH-OQA) on 21/10 scheduled for a 22:10 departure pushed back at 22:48 yet wasn’t airborne until 00:05 - an unusually long taxi of 77 mins. Arrival into Sydney some 73 mins late at 08:43.

QF499 syd - mel not delayed but overbooked. They sent an sms to my partner asking for people to move their flights if they can otherwise they may cancel if they're still over when you get to the plane.
