That’s an unusual one - do we know how long it spent in Papeete? I guess enough pilots on board to continue in one go…
Not sure why it had 105 as its flight number on FR24. But it flew as QF6001. It positioned to LAX via HNL because of a leaking fuel tank. Couldn’t make it all the way so had to gas’n’go in HNL. Problem fixed at LAX where I believe most A380 parts are stored. Has since returned to service and is operating the QF7 today.? Charter to HNL then positioning to LAX - but I thought charters typically didn’t use regular flight numbers so the use of 105 is unusual if so.
Hope The poor weather weather in Melbourne won’t cause more trouble than necessarySaturday 30 August 2025 sees QF63 (A388 VH_OQI, the 0930 hours morning SYD across to JNB) taking off at 1104 with arrival forecast for 1705 hours, 65 late.
A332 VH-EBO is on QF67, the 0905 hours SYD to BLR in India that was airborne at 1011, with gate arrival likely at 1719 hours, 44 minutes behind schedule.
B738 VH-VZX is operating QF143, the 0855 hours SYD to AKL that was in the sky at 1036, so it is also 65 late with arrival suggested at 1510.
QF2 from LHR to SIN has A388 VH-OQL with arrival forecast for 1802 hours in the early evening, 37 behind.
The 1020 hours SYD to HKG (QF127) took off at 1129 so a 38 minutes tardy arrival at gate at 1838 is on the cards. A333 VH-QPB has the task.
B789 VH-ZNJ is on 'the 10' from the UK"s LHR down to PER with arrival suggested as 1223, 33 late.
The 1205 hours MEL-SIN (QF35) is expected to depart an hour late with A333 VH-QPE that's been in MEL since 0704 this morning, arriving as QF80 ex NRT in Japan.
