Qantas Delays/Cancellations

QF53D was initially scheduled for:
- 1050 (yesterday)
- 1140 (midnight change)
- 1220 (around 9am)
- 1220 - DELAYED (around 1130)

No one at the J Lounge has an idea what is going on. Well, QF51 has left now and I am still drinking my Little Creatures - let's see how we go!
I wish you all the best for the flight today - as said the A330 fleet is overworked :(

On Monday 14 July 2025, QF1, the 1450 hours SYD-SIN-LHR A380 was cancelled. This will presumably mean the Tuesday 15 July QF2 will also get the flick.

This may have been at relatively short notice as I don't recall seeing notification of the cancellation earlier today.

Update is: QF ferried VH-QPG over from SYD as QF6015 that is now being prepared to bring us up to Singapore eventually hopefully.

QF53D was airborne at 1245 hours from BNE with forecast SIN arrival on Monday 14 July at 1810 hours, 1235 minutes late.

A380 fleet still suffering after aerobridge accident. Today’s QF1 cancelled. There is an A380 in Johannesburg due to crew rest and no QF12 on 13/7. The QF 2 ex LHR Tuesday will depart Wednesday at 0900.

Yup, we just touched down at Changi. Was a very pleasant flight with only 57 pax in the Y cabin.

Just spotted two A380 at the gates in Changi.

With the delay to Monday 14 July's QF29 (MEL-HKG), the aircraft is forming a delayed QF128 (scheduled 1930 hours HKG to SYD, but supposedly altered to depart at 2100 mid evening).

In theory, this allows QF30 (HKG to MEL) to depart on time as it's formed by the punctual QF127 ex SYD.

2100 hours for the 128's pushback seems optimistic as QF29 is to arrive at gate at 1929 (touchdown at 1924, and I add five minutes as a standard for taxiing but note @tomlee1986 stating that at HKG it can take 15 minutes).

QF29 is never a five minute taxi - in or out... I've never seen it less than ten minutes.
