Too hard to tell and sadly I don’t have this knowledge of time outThanks!
This would have QF29 just shy of 4 hours late.to depart
QF30 now due to land at 1228, nearly 5 hours late.
A what stage would crew time out or do they start swapping them around @tomlee1986 ?
Thanks!

Safe travels but I am thinking your actual departure could be more like 1415
If I recall correctly- international turn around even at home port on a planeAgree. Despite years of experience showing that estimated turnaround times when planes run late into an airport are overly optimistic, the programmers continue to suggest unrealistic departure times.

I feel this could compound the problems and I think I mentioned this before: A330 fleet is stretched to the max!!Also on Sunday 13 July 2025, QF19, the 1225 hours SYD-MNL with A332 VH-EBG is expected to depart at 1329 (odd time).
This will be due to it having arrived at 1151 hours (19 minutes early) as QF642 domestically from PER, but then having to switch terminals.
That QFd to QFi transfers occur with minimal time between scheduled flights suggests QFi lack sufficient aircraft to operate timely schedules.
SadWhile sitting in the BNE J Lounge (having done SYD - MEL - BNE in the morning), getting this….
Lovely end of my holiday!
Culprit looks to be VH-EBS that arrived in the early morning from Manila.Sadthis happened but the A330 fleet looks stretched to the max

Hope you will be on your way soonCulprit looks to be VH-EBS that arrived in the early morning from Manila.
And also @Flyfrequently @Melburnian1 - the 29 to HKG finally departed at 1447, ETA is 2145 - almost 4 hrs late!!
Thanks for the clarificationNo, it departed (i.e. initial pushback) at 1435. 1447 was the time it took off: FR24 shows takeoff times, not gate departure times.
Gate arrival is estimated for QF29 in HKG at 2154 hours, 239 minutes late.
The delayed QF19 (A332 VH-EBG) took off at 1331 with arrival in MNL suggested as only 29 late at 1919 hours, subject as always to whether it has to join a lengthy queue of arriving aircraft.
Flight time limitations vary with all sorts of factors, so you can't just give a one size fits all answer. The A380 mostly flew with a 4 man crew, and that has different limits to a 3 man or 2 man. In this instance, I'd expect it to be 3 man, so, probably 12 hours extendable to 14.If I recall correctly, @jb747 (former QFi pilot) once said the duty time limit (at least on the A380s) was 18 hours but could be stretched to 20 hours by agreement. So based on that one wouldn't expect 'timing out' will be a problem for your flight (unless the aircraft suddenly needs significant maintenance upon arrival in Melbourne and would be delayed several hours more. Anything's possible but probably unlikely).
QF 29 landed approx 2130, taxi to the Gate was 15 minutes @Melburnian1No, it departed (i.e. initial pushback) at 1435. 1447 was the time it took off: FR24 shows takeoff times, not gate departure times.

That's about normal for QF29 arriving into HKG - it seems like the taxi is never going to end.QF 29 landed approx 2130, taxi to the Gate was 15 minutes
This is because of using the 3rd runway to land and further out to terminal buildingThat's about normal for QF29 arriving into HKG - it seems like the taxi is never going to end.
