QF836 MEL-DRW diverted to KNX on account of a disabled aircraft stuck on runway 11/29
Plane appears to still be in Kununurra
QF849 DRW-PER cancelled
QF113 DRW-SIN delayed (scheduled departure 1455 actual departure 1636)

I believe the usual flow is MEL-DRW-SIN so assume the PER aircraft has been hastily requisitioned to cover the (full) SIN service. Can’t back this assertion up with paperwork however

We were able to check in after QF updated the departure time to 19.50.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch at the MEL F lounge. Food and service were great.

We've boarded and now doors closed. JQ35 departed around 7pm. I overheard the CSM saying to a pax on boarding that we could divert to DRW if necessary. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that!

Reportedly a rescue flight inbound from Perth. Some chat about a landing gear failure- unclear if the QF 737 or the aircraft stuck on the runway at DRW (which I haven’t been able to identify)

Also on Wednesday 18 June 2025, QF1, the 1450 hours SYD-SIN-LHR with A388 VH-OQL was airborne at 1723, so SIN gate arrival should be at about 2307 hours local time, 112 minutes late. This will delay the second sector.

A332 VH-EBJ has had a significant amount of late running recently. 18 June has been no exception, with it arriving at 0723 hours (108 late) as QF36 from SIN to MEL, and later as QF39, the 1450 hours MEL-CGK taking off at 1711 with gate arrival suggested as 2116 hours, 121 late.

Domestically, QFd may have had a B738 fail in Perth, as VH-VZX on QF651 from SYD that arrived at 1832 hours, 13 minutes early is forming QF940, the late afternoon 1750 hours PER up to BNE estimated to depart shortly at 1925 hours Western Australian time.

On Thursday 19 June 2025, QF1 from SYD (A388 VH_OQK) arrived SIN bang on time at 2115 hours mid evening local time. However the next sector to LHR did not take off until 0233 on Friday 20, meaning suggested LHR gate arrival at about 0848 hours, 133 minutes late.

A332 VH-EBB on the 1555 hours second division QF37 from MEL up to SIN is expected to depart at 1715, 80 late.

A333 VH-QPH is on QF71, the scheduled 1225 hours PER to SIN up up and away at 1411 this afternoon. Arrival should be 1921, 81 behind.

On Sunday 22 June, QF97 with A332 VH-EBN arrived MNL (ex BNE) at 0117 hours, 12 late, but the return 'small hours' 0245 hours flight (QF98) has been delayed in its MNL departure to an estimated 1200 'high noon'.

Singapore appears to be a troublesome destination, QF53 left BNE last night at 2330 rather than 1515, as a result last nights QF54 will leave at 0645 this morning ex SIN

From what I can see online (happy to be corrected), QF9 (B789 VH-ZNE) appears to still be en route to SIN with QFi suggesting it will arrive (at gate) at 0930 hours local time, and then depart on Wednesday 25 June at 0800 hours for a 1600 hours arrival at London Heathrow.

I suspect FlightAware has for some reason got them resuming flights, Qantas them selves were quoted by news.com:
Due to airspace closures and congestion through the Middle East resulting in air traffic restrictions, QF9 (Perth-London) has been diverted to Singapore and QF33 (Perth-Paris) is returning to Perth,” a Qantas spokesperson said.

The Perth-London flight is carrying 199 customers and 14 crew, who will be accommodated overnight in Singapore.

News.com.au understands this will impact the departure of QF10 due to the lack of aircraft on ground (recovery is being assessed).
